Adult Week (Ages 16+, Beginner and Intermediate Sailing) - Aug 5 – 9 (2024)

Adult Week classes meet Monday through Friday 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the downstairs ward room of Deep Creek Yacht Club, Inc., 855 Shoreline Drive, Swanton, Maryland.

​Adult classes are open to persons aged 16 and over. At least one person over age 18 must accompany students aged 16 or 17 onboard (in addition to the instructor). On the first instruction day of each week a child is attending, a parent or guardian MUST check in with an instructor to ensure all Terms and Conditions requirements are met. 

If the Participant is under 18, a parent or guardian MUST check in with an instructor on the first instruction day of each week to ensure all Terms and Conditions requirements are met.

Location



The physical location of DCSS is different than our mailing address. The sailing school classroom is located on the first floor of Deep Creek Lake Sailing Association (DCLSA) clubhouse.  

Some classes are held at Deep Creek Yacht Club, Inc. (DCYC) Both clubs are located at the southern end of Deep Creek Lake.
